Lightning Ridge No 6 Pennant players bowled their way into the finals of this prestigious event at Bateau Bay throughout the June long weekend.
In a first for the local club they have brought home the State Number 6 Pennant Flag. Bowling neighbours Goodooga made it a double for the “boys from the bush” by capturing the Number 7 Pennant Title.
Lightning Ridge District Bowling Club was also represented in the Number One Pennant category and though not so successful as their counterparts attributed themselves well.
