Walgett Shire Council have recently endorsed the appointment of Councillor Joan Treweeke as a Director of the new Barwon Darling Credit Union Ltd.
“Councillor Joan Treweeke has been involved in the development of the Barwon Darling Credit Union since its inception and has a thorough knowledge of the developments to date, the plans for the future as well as the necessary requirements of a Director of a company,” they said.
Nominations will also be sought for an additional Director on the Board representing the wider Walgett Shire Business community.
Each member Shire of the Barwon Darling Credit Union will nominate two people to sit as Directors on the new Barwon Darling Credit Union.
