12 December 2001 Nicola Cerrone and Jan Logan launch 2002 jewellery collections

When Nicola Cerrone launches his Summer 2002 Collection at Arte and Lucina in Double Bay can we expect that his lovingly handcrafted pieces will include our magnificent gemstone?

Australian jewellers are capitalising on the association between jewellery and the celebrities. Nicola Cerrone has become Barbara Streisand's favourite jeweller and with the assistance of a group of Sydney names his collection will be introduced.

Nicola Cerrone was one of the judges at the Inaugural Opal Jewellery Design Awards and in 2001 was represented by Lucas Blacker.

Fellow Double Bay jeweller Jan Logan is also releasing her 2002 catalogue using local acting talent. Last year Logan used Rose Byrne as one of her models.

Rose Byrne was the star of "Goddess of '67" which was filmed in Lightning Ridge.
