Mooribul Forum Reconcilliation Workshops Non Violence- How we treat each other. This year Mooribul day will take the form of two Reconcilliation Forums addressed by professor Stuart rees, member of the Aboriginal Reconcilliation Committee of NSW. Prior to the two forums, schools from throughout Walgett Shire will be involved in two sessions conducted at Walgett Shire Council schools from throughout Walgett Shire will be involved in two sessions conducted at Walgett Shire Council Chambers. The forums will focus upon reconcilliation, non violent conflict resolution and cultural diversity. Walgett Primary, Walgett High and St. Josephs Schools will host these forums, with students from Lightning Ridge, Collarenebri, Rowena, Burren Junction and Carinda also participating. It is expected that the Council Chambers will be decorated to depict the culture, art, photos, mucsic and flowers of the area.
